Everything you need to know about Block 1
When and where are the sessions?
Every Monday, 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM
Ennis National School, Kilrush Road, Ennis, Co Clare
Block 1 runs for 8 weeks: March 2nd - April 20th, 2026
What age is this for?
Ages 10-13 (Born 2013-2015)
Typically 4th class through 1st year secondary. This is the age where behavioral patterns are forming—and where intentional development makes the biggest difference.
What's included in the programme?
8 Monday Sessions: 90 minutes of coached development (4:45-6:15 PM)
App-Guided Home Practice: 6-day framework for self-directed training
FQ Tracking: Baseline and final assessment measuring growth across physical, technical, and confidence
Growth Report: Comprehensive development report at end of block
Parent Showcase: Week 8 session where parents see the transformation
What's the difference between Base and Plus?
Base (€149): Complete development experience—coaching, app access, FQ tracking, growth report, showcase.
Plus (€189): Everything in Base PLUS PlayerBuilder training kit (jersey & shorts), personalized stat card, and priority re-enrollment for Block 2.
The training experience is identical. Plus is about identity and belonging.
Do you offer family discounts?
Yes! Family discounts apply automatically:
- • 2nd child: €20 off
- • 3rd child: €40 off
One registration form, multiple children. Discounts calculated automatically at checkout.
What skill level does my child need?
Any level. We don't select players—we build them.
PlayerBuilder works whether your child plays for a club or just kicks around with friends. The behavioral skills we train (confidence, resilience, decision-making) benefit everyone.
Sessions are designed with challenge levels so each player works at their edge.
What should they bring?

Why only 32 players?
Quality over quantity.
With 32 players and 2 coaches, we maintain a 16:1 ratio. This lets us give individual feedback, track each player's FQ scores, and notice behavioral patterns we'd miss in larger groups.
PlayerBuilder isn't about delivering sessions—it's about transforming players. That requires attention.
What's your refund policy?
You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before Block 1 begins.
After Block 1 starts, fees are non-refundable, because places, staffing and kit are committed.
If something serious happens (medical or family emergency), email info@playerbuilder.ie. We'll review it case-by-case and may offer a credit or partial refund.
Do parents stay during sessions?
Your choice.
You're welcome to watch from the sideline or drop off and collect. Most parents stay for Week 1 and Week 8 (showcase), come and go for middle weeks.
We'll send weekly updates via email so you're never in the dark about what's happening.
What is Football Quotient (FQ)?
FQ is our framework for measuring player development across three areas:
- Physical Capacity: Speed, agility, endurance, power
- Technical Quality: Ball mastery, weak foot, first touch, 1v1 ability
- Game Confidence: Decision-making, composure, positioning
We assess at Week 1 and Week 8, tracking actual improvement—not just participation.
What if we miss a session?
Life happens. Illness, family events, school commitments—we get it.
No makeup sessions (the cohort model doesn't allow it), but your child keeps app access and we'll include them in the final FQ assessment if they've attended at least 6 of 8 sessions.
Missing more than 2 sessions? Let us know—we'll work something out.
What happens after Block 1?
Block 2 will be announced during Block 1.
Plus package members get priority registration and early bird pricing for future blocks. We're building a long-term development pathway—Block 1 is just the foundation.
